Rev. Peter Franz
Peter Franz is Director and CEO of Gospel Fire International He has a huge heart to evangelize and reach the masses of unreached people groups all over East and Central Africa. He often pilots his own plane into remote and distant locations to get the Gospel heard where it might not have been heard before. His greatest joy is to see African national missionaries receive a call into missions – and then to actually go. When disciples make more disciples and when new church plants take root in virgin territories and when thousands find Jesus at their Gospel Celebrations and Peace Festivals – that makes it all worthwhile. Peter’s greatest thrill is to strategize with local and international leaders on how best to break new ground and find ways to bring the Gospel to many of these remote and still untouched territories.
Peter and his wife Becky work with a highly motivated team of African and European co-workers. Together they have built Gospel Fire International (1998) – a highly respected mission’s organization based in Eldoret, Kenya, whose goal it is to reach the lost wherever they may be – to bring a new perspective on life, a renewed hope and a promising future.
Becki and Peter got married in 1986 and have spent almost all of that time ministering across Africa. They have two beautiful daughters, Mirjana and Jessica and a son Deren. They all love the Lord and have a passion for God like their parents. Peter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, graduating in 2011 from Pan Africa Christian University, Nairobi, Kenya with a Master’s in Entrepreneurial Leadership.
